oh yeah, so, the past 4 days have been perfect...
today, chris, bryan, and i headed out to the northern oregon area.
we drove to hermiston, skated that basketball court thing with the benches...got a couple photos

my sister went back to school yesterday.
she gave me a camera before she took off. its a Nikon FG-20 with a 50mm f/1.8

i'm hyped to say the least. i decided to do a photo project with it i suppose.
i'm gonna document a good portion of my life with it, take photos of my friends, skateboarding, strangers, random shit that doesnt need documenting, and maybe making a little book. we'll see.

drove to eugene, stayed the night, then camped at lake shasta, checked out sacto, drove to camp, saw some rad people, stayed at camp for a week, drove to san mateo, stayed with ryan, skated around san francisco, drove back to eugene, drove home...

cedro, alex, cory, kyle, mario, and i drove to battleground, WA for the Emerica Wild Ride demo and to skate some rad places.

the park is so rad there, i wish i could've skated it more, it was super fun though. so many kids!

we left the demo early to head to portland, and on our way, we were stopped at a light, mario was yelling at people from the van, and there was another mini van beside us, mario yelled "AYO! YOU WANNA RACE!" and andrew reynolds popped his head out and asked if we knew where a starbucks was, ahhaha, it was pretty rad. we didnt stop talking about it for the rest of the trip we were so hyped...losers we are.
we finally made our way to pier park to skate, that park is really fun, little wallrides all over, very very fun. then we drove to the other side of portland it seemed and skated at glenhaven with joe and austie, after that we went to burnside, al partenen was there, i was way hyped, he was just chillin in the parking lot...too bad i didnt get to see him skate. we skated there for a little while some cracked out bum almost got in a fight with some local and stole his board saying "my house! my rules!" and skated away...totally crazy man. burnside is a gnarly spot. then we skated the antique ledge and the waterfront area. after that we just headed home. it was fun though.

cory, zach, alex, and i went to yakima to get some skating in, maybe some photos, had fun! so drove off at noonish, took our time, went to the park for like, 30 minutes maybe, no one was there, so we went to the shop called Midstate, alex and i got boards, since we dont want to go to god damn zumiez! thanks for helpin us out vito!

anyways, afterwards, we went to davis highschool, that place is very fun. got some photos

after yakima, we just drove to sunnyside, skated the miniramp, then prosser, then home, i hung out with my lady and her friends, we roasted wieners and marshmallows over a fire, it was nice.

yes, cory, zach, alex, and i went skating around kennewick.
very fun

first stop was the old kennewick park, you know, trying to learn crailblocks and what not, schmale already has them down.

maybe i'll learn it some day...

after the kennewick park, we went to this place with a black rail that goes straight out from a 3 stair thing, alex was trying front nose...

no lander though...

then we drove around trying to find this school but that didnt happen, but we went to that old word of faith skatepark, there used to be a bunch of wooden ramps and stuff, but now its just that old concrete mellow quarter pipe, we sessioned it for like, 15 minutes, but it seemed like an hour, got so tired from it!

then we were off to that old church across the street from where urethane used to be, you know, that old skateshop that closed about 3 years ago...R.I.P.
i loved that place, anyways, we skated that little up ledge.
alex was trying front blunts up it, we all know how dangerous that can be...

slip out, then land on his back on the ledge kinda, looks really intense

after that, we went home, i showered, skated again a little,

so i havent updated the blog in about another month...or so it seems
anyways

i cant waste your (or my) time explaining what i've been up to that whole time, so i'll sum it up with the past 4 or 5 days

i went to my cousin's graduation in idaho last weekend, i love the mountains, its WAY up by canada, you can basically see the canadian border from my cousin's house, its a 10 minute drive.

so i tried to take a few photos while i was there...

this is my uncle, he's probably one of the coolest dudes i know.

the trees up there are amazing...i want to live there someday, this is in my cousin's backyard!

and the most exciting news, lexi got 2 puppies! they're like, weener dog mixes, so there really goofy looking and they stumble over themselves and wrestle eachother, and basically they're the most entertaining dogs in the world!
her mom named one Zuess and Lex and i named the other Biggie, they're very fun!

hahahahahha!

they wrestle a lot! it looks much more violent than it is...you know how puppies are.

they fall asleep so easily, they can play for 5 minutes, then you pick them up and hold them, and they fall asleep instantly, hellza cute!

before you continue, i just want to say this, after reading this, you might be mildly offended, if you are 20 years old and younger. you might even not want to be my friend anymore, and this isn't targeted towards any one person, its targeted to the current youth.

I've been thinking about this discussion my teacher and my class had a few months back, and its starting to make more and more sense to me.
we'll start at age 6, when you played soccer with all of your elementary friends in your town, and your team was called the leaping lizards or some crap like that, anyways, remember? you played a game every Saturday morning, you probably lost most of them, or you were on the team where there was one kid who was a year older than everyone else, whatever, at the end of the season, you've lost more games than you've won, but, you get a trophy, for what? what did you do to earn a trophy? what does that trophy symbolize?
you probably have a better answer than me.

you're still in elementary school, you're having mad problems coloring inside of the lines, yet the teacher keeps telling you that your artwork is beautiful, and your 7 colors mixed into a brown mess looks like a flower, why does the teacher sugar-coat this mess? instead of correcting? maybe too harsh for a child, but really, life gets tougher I'm sure.
we grow up always being told that "doing your best is the best you can do, and that your effort is always the most important factor"
but we all need to stop lying to ourselves.
say you paint a room in your house, you don't tape up anything, you get paint splatters all over the carpet, and there are many un-even lines in the rolling pattern you made, but since you slaved over this project for 3 days, and despite the terrible job you did, your parents tell you the room was lovely, but they're gonna use it for the guest bedroom, cuz no one ever goes in there anyways.

now you're in high school, you have friends, a reputation, you think everyone is watching your every move, and you're too self-conscious to sneeze in public. guess what? no one is watching you. i'm sure you're saying, "wow, kyle is a dick" but you know it. you dont realize, that everyone is too busy looking at them self, not you. now before i go on, let me tell you, i have a myspace, myspace is great, its much easier and more convenient than e-mail and i got all the people who matter to me on there,
but it does get borderline narcissistic when you think about it, essentially, its a public personal add, where you get to talk about yourself, and tell everyone your most personal interests, you even get to show off yourself in the form of pics.
all i ever see is all the hipsters that think they really are the coolest thing they've ever seen, its usually a sub-conscious thing too, they dont admit to it, but inside, they know it, they love looking at themself in the mirror in the morning, and they want people to notice them more than anything.

by the way, excuse any spelling/grammar errors, my mind is kinda blurry, and i'm rampaging.

also, believe me, i realize blogs are no different than myspace profiles, but i try to use mine mostly for posting recent photos i've taken, and people occasionally tell me they like my blogs, so sometimes i try to convince myself that people like my "art"

now the worst thing,
people who think that they're the only one with a problem, i'm not only talking about the emo's and scenester's, i'm talking about everyone, we've all gone through it.

that is a phrase i hate, its so condescending, and to be honest, i would understand, because its probably happened to me, its called life, and you cant rely on everything to be perfect, it takes me a good 5 minutes to realize i'm not the only one in the world with a problem, and those 5 minutes, its tough, cuz i have to mentally punch myself in the face. that didnt make sense and i dont care.

to most of you, this was harsh, and you're probably convincing yourself that this blog doesnt apply to you, well, to be honest, it applies to everyone, including me.
i'm just accepting it right now.
so dont call me a hypocrite, because i know it. and i cant spell, so call me an idiot.
when i say "i dont care" i kinda mean it.

stop worrying about yourself, and worry about your friend
stop kicking yourself over something someone else is pinched for
and ask yourself, do you really deserve that reward?
i probably dont, but thats cool, just means i have a reason to try to get a real reward.

went back to irrigon and skated more, the bacon dudes were there, and with them, was nick hinnman, i dont know if i spelled that right...anyways, i met nick at skatecamp last summer, he was an intern or something, super cool dude, so crazy seeing him in this neck of the woods! he's going to school in oregon, i'm gonna have to go down there and visit someday.

what a day...

golden skateshops premier of the video Ice Cream Taco was at carmike...it was super fun...view.

after the video, we all went to sheris and wasted money on food, then most of the day was kind of a blur, we just drove around looking for crap to do...whatevs, the fun didnt start until later. cory, bryant, russ, alex and i came back to my house and we watched a couple sick movies, then alex/bryant went home and russ/cory/me went skating...we made the better decision...

yep, friday after school, hung out with lexi,
we just hung around, ate old country buffet and ate too much. then fell asleep at her house. that was nice. i need to take more naps.

went over to lexi's for a bit, we drove around, got bored, ate food, saw the number 23, haha, that movie was actually pretty sweet. i need to see the reno 911 movie and maybe 300, those look sweet.
went to 321, jared olivas played, i liked his new songs, then slowdancefast played, they did really good. and car scars played for the first time in the tri cities since about a year ago.

we went to quiznos, that made me very happy.

so, saturday, the sun gleams through my window, and wakes me up.
obviously, its gonna be a good day.

sit around for a bit, play some guitar, drink some tea. everything if feeling swell.
go down to the skatepark, the weather is more than perfect, sunny, warm, with a beatiful cool breeze.
we choose not to waste our day at the skatepark, lets go street skating.

beautiful day. seriously awesome outside.
went skating right after school, hung at the park for a few. then went to some curb cut over pole deal that alex scoped.

then we went to cola land
alex got a little too manly with zach, and he somehow got a bloody nose

then we went back to the park for a little, skated, went and got teh bench and skated at chief jo...there was like, kids skating and lurking on our session, it was funny. we all tried to run a lap around the track...but i was too out of shape and gave up, matt won.

after that, we went back to golden for a bit, then i went and skated at some tennis court with the bench, that was neat, went and picked up lexi and we just hung out.

really really really good friday. and the weather is so nice today! go skate!

yesterday was a half day, after school, sessioned chinese buffet, half of hanford was there, but i was with teejay, zach, alex, and bryant, total dudefest. whatevs.
afterwards we lurked around, skated, decided we wanted to session hermiston...so, we called joe, and the planning went through, and the awesome began.

after we got there, the drive started, it was alex driving, matt, craig and myself.

finally arriving at joes house, we sat and watched some footage and whatnot, good stuff.

but after school, went straight to the skatepark to see smudski! it was awesome, karl and his buddy danny were going on a trip to the seattle area and stopped through here, so hyped.

its cold out there, wear gloves...

charlie, ray, and nich came in from spokane last night, so i skated with them today.
we took photos out in kennewick at that crazy harsh rough bank spot.

ray threaded the needle through the fence and that sign...which is crazy, considering his intensly baggy clothes could've gotten snagged on the fence or something...could've been bad son!

one more new years resolution

i dont know if i already covered this...but my original new years resolution was to get a job..anywhere, anytime, sometime in the year of 2007. i'm not too worried about that, because i can do it, i need it, and its not something i can fail horribly in.

but right now, i'm pretty sure i have another one to add...
i need to cut down on the fast food. [or greasy foods in general]
i do love my fast food, french fries, burritos, chicken sandwhiches, tacos from jack in the box.
i love chinese food, [probably the greasiest of them all] i love noodles from azn resturaunts.

i know its gonna be impossible for me to completely stop eating these delishious treats.
but lately, i've been getting these cramps in my stomach, i'm really really really out of shape, everyonce and a while, i'll be forced to run or sprint for a short distance, and i'll get winded super easy. its not healthy, i'm not healthy. i'm gonna get fat, and i'll have a heart attack/stroke at the age of 32.
this isnt healthy, i'll still eat my fast food, but i'll try to balance it out with some salads, or at least eat like, subway or something, cuz thats closer to the healthier side of fast food...maybe not.

maybe you found amusement, maybe even motivation/inspiration.

i'll tell you when i break my new years resolution. thats gonna be when i'm fat, or i'll pass out after a 15 minute skate session. its not gonna be good.

yesterday evening, i ended up going to 321 and meeting eric, adam, and craig there.
there were hella goofballs there. some people i really didnt prefer, but, there was also the handful of good people.

today, was a monday, of no school! yay for martin luther king jr.!

matt and i drove to hermiston to meet with joe and skate/film/photo/live.

first thing we do, pick up joe, and go see eddie at domino's and get some delish pizza, i had sausage and jalepenos...making my mouth water just thinking about it!

then we went and skated these places by joes house, this one house with these neat little banks in the front, that was fun.
there was a sweet little dog jumpin around.

oh yeah, before i go on. let me tell you a somewhat new/different experience i encounter'd while skating in hermiston. you skate houses in hermiston. something VERY new to me. cuz i do NOT do that around here. "i just like skating houses." -joe.
so, we skated a couple abandoned houses.

this house was neat, there was this driveway that went into the street, and some steps that went straight out, and you'd kinda jump into the driveway...just view the photos...

friday/saturday post.

friday was a half day, so right after school tim 'n' aimee and i went to dennys. i got a grand slam, twas quite lovely, and i was VERY full.

then after that...i dont remember what all i did, but i just lurked around with everyone until the main event of the evening

...the squeebs get-together at nick/jamie's house!

but before you view the photos...i have a VERY sad story to tell.
so i basically took about 30 photos of the band actually playing.
and somewhere in the uploading process, i lost basically ALL of the awesome photos i took, however, i managed to salvage all the 'worthless' photos i took for the rest of the night. so, i'm pissed. and i'm sure you feel ripped off as well. i am sorry...

but i just kinda ran around and snapped photos all night.

it was a good friday my friends.
school went good. nothing hard, just anticipation.
after school, i went and picked up lexi, we ate some burritos and hung out at hastings with cameron and james. then lexi and i hung at her house for a bit, it was nice and chill.

at the moment, i'm pretty bored.

today...
first day back at school, cool, whatevs. urhg.
after school i made a couple prints...not that great looking. went to taco bell for litterally like, 10 minutes and said hi to lexi, teejay, lauren, maddi, and brittany and whatevs.
put some new shoes on, and drove to the other side of the parking lot and skated with zach, zack, matt, cory, chris, and azn jason.
azn jason is fucking crazy.

i actually filmed a line, i dont ever get footage. i doubt it'll be used in anything though.

he replied with something along the lines of, "fucking faggot ass skateboardersss"
whatevs.
later he was walking by again and started heckling again, we werent havin it. so we had to tell him what was up, it ended up with him pretending like he never said anything to me, and tried to act like nothing happened. ended with, "ya'll is faggots!"

i'm happy to inform you all, i havnt had any twitches in like, 4 days or so, so the new medication is doing very very good.
skated today, in the cold. went to the new kennewick park. hella rollerbladers, and some old guys i havnt seen in ages, mainly just this guy cameron, i missed him.

yeah...that was nice.

today is teejay's birthday, teejay, if you read this. this is the plan. i'm gonna hang with lexi until about 3ish, you probably wont even be awake by 3, and then we're gonna go to the great wall buffet!

okay, so, as you can tell from my previous post, i was pretty pissed off.
yesterday morning, my new medication wasnt kicking in yet,
i was twitchin around from 10am-2:30ish. so, i was pretty bummed.
but today, my medication is working well, and so far, i havent had any twitches!
...or i just got more sleep last night. lol

anyways, yesterday was awesome. skateboarding day for everyone! went down to golden, met chris and taylor there, hung around for a little.

taylor is exaggerating.

then we skated at the park for a bit, skated a fun little flat bar, very very fun.
then taylor, chris and i sessioned denny's, that was hella sweet. went back to golden, alex, bryant, and vince were there too.

craig showed up, so craig, chris, taylor, vince, and i went skating at the CK ledge that just got built, got kicked out in negative 8 seconds by this sweet azn guy, his accent was really really crazy, and he knew vince, it was funny. he actually gave us candy, i didnt eat it, everyone said it was gross. but the fact that he was really nice, and gave us candy, i didnt really care that we got kicked out. so then we went to the post office rail. a tiny little 6 stair rail. whatevs, i needed to try out my new fisheye, i mean, i havent taken any skate photos with it....so i went crazy!
i had no idea what i was doing, but i was stoked, like, 'what, i have a fisheye now? how do i use this thing???!?!?!?"
i'm sure i'll get better at it as well.

wahooo!
so, i started some new medication for my epilepsy...no, not workin out yet!
this morning, had to wait around until about 2 before i stopped twitchin...not fun.
oh well, it went away. went and grabbed lexi, we went to the river...decided it was WAY cold down there, so we rented nacho libre and went back to her house...
nacho libre sucked. i mean, there were a couple parts where i giggled. but, basically was really weird.
but, hanging with lexi was mega awesome. really really awesome :]
cameron made lexi and i some paintings, so he came by, and dropped them off. i cant wait to put these awesomes up on my wall!!!

then, after i left lexi's i met cameron and casey at the bowling alley, i bowled one game, totally dominated life!

its been a while since i last posted.
what do i have to catch up on? christmas? it was good man!
my aunt/uncle/cousin came in from idaho, its always fun seeing them. but yeah, my christmas was good, i couldnt ask for more really, i'm quite satisfied.
yesterday was really fun! went to hastings, gotta pavement cd [wowee zowee] its really good!

then went and snagged lexi, we hung for a while, drove around for a while, yeahs. then i went over to tim's, and hung with him and aimee.

so, word came about that my fisheye was coming in the mail yesterday, so i begged my dad, and yeah, i could open it a few days early...i couldnt handle waiting 4 more days!

so, i hung out with teejay and nick for a bit, came home, waited around for the darn lens

winter break has started, and its great!
right after school, went and picked up lexi and we drove around for a while, got some chai tea and shot some photos...

i tried to make them all look like prints in a darkroom
i miss shooting film, i need to do that sometime...

that was fun. mega fun.
then, after that, we rented ice age 2, that shits funny!

then we had plans to go to the show at 321, but, we were running late, so instead we just sessioned sheri's...it was damn delishious if thats what you're wondering.
then, spontaneously, we decided we were gonna go to the winter formal dance...even though, we were not approprietly dressed, hahaha. that was fun though, hung out with teejay and lauren. then just kinda hung around after that.
and i'm hyped.

today was good
school was easy, i mean, the hardest parts are over with
tomorow is the last day, then 10 days off! excited!
went to the skatepark, skated with cameron and paul. there was only like, 3 other people at the park the whole time, it was nice. i won in a game of S.K.A.T.E.-something i rarely ever do
that was kinda exciting.
cameron's board was straight fuct. and i was deep in the holiday spirit, so i gave him a board. i felt pretty good about that. i hope he enjoys it!

its been a mellow sunday. a good one.
the sun gently brushes my eyes, its warmth awakens me from my slumber.
say goodmorning to my ween, and move onto brushing my teeth, and a nice soothing shower.
no twitches today. pure optimism.
back up a bit.
last night, my parents asked me what i want for christmas. i cant think of anything i want, that is affordable at least. so i just say,
"eh, i dont really need anything"
they insist,"well, we're gonna get you something... (laughs) need anything for your camera?"
laughing, i say, "actually, theres this fisheye lens that i want..."
dad asks me, "how much are those things?"
"ahh you know, like, too much..." i say, because i know its a joke.
then...a lightbulb pops up above my head.
"hey! can i use some of that money from that college fund to get that lens?"
"no! thats for college!" says my mom
"well...its for education..." my dad replies
"but photography is not education" mom barks
"they have a class for it? and its something i like to do..." me, trying to put my 2 cents in.
"we'll talk about it..." end of discussion, thanks to dad.

back to this morning, i'm feeling good, not twitches, pure happiness.
sit down, turn on a cartoon, still feeling great.
mom and dad come and sit down.
"we thought about it, and, i suppose we can get you that lens, since you dont really want anything else for christmas...and its not like we're spending our money...WE'RE SPENDING YOUR MONEY!"
it was funny.
and now, i'm hyped. so, fisheye lens for christmas! [canon 15mm]
hooray for life!

went to my old daycare/babysitter's house and exchanged gifts and stuff, it was nice, catching up and whatnot.
then got golden a new dvd player...WITH A REMOTE!
so we can watch bonus features now! jamie was so kind enough to give me a board to. very generous.
then i went and had a short YET enjoyable session at the park.
came home, dad made baked ziti.

today, school was boring. really really boring. oh well,
got out of school, it was dry enough to skate, so i went to the park, like always, i complained about how it was too cold/windy for me to skate and enjoy myself, so i called it quits, and went to golden for like, 15 minutes probably.
i go in, alex and nick are chillin, alex is playin super nintendo. the other controller doesnt work, due to a tragic pepsi spill accident. so why keep this useless controller around? lets do what the human mind loves, lets entertain ourselves, lets cause destruction!

its kinda hard to see, but its about to hit...

i kinda had to burn and highlight the actual hit, its still kinda hard to see.
but basically, nick just swung the controller by its cord, and smashed it on the floor. pieces went flying everywhere, like plastic does. and it easily could've taken out someones eye. badly. infact, a huge chunk of this plastic waste hit alex in the neck!

not much damage, but i mean, it could've taken out his eye!

it sure was fun though!
came home, read for like, 2 hours...boring

yesterday, i went down to the river in hopes of taking a cool photos, i was kinda pleased with this one...

best monday in a while i'd say.
school was whatevs. dont wanna talk about it. i gott a lot of comments/questions on my face. and my response was "ahh you know, i kiss the road from time to time" or "what the fuck are you looking at?!?!?!?!...just kidding."
after school i picked up teejay, we met chris at this gap thing in kennewick. its fun shizz.
pole jams made of re-bar and little rocks that stop you. oh yeah, cold.

teejay had to go to the dentist, and so chris and i went down to barnes and noble and met up with david. chilled, sessioned starbucks, hella cheapskeez. talked about weird ass routines and what the fuck we're gonna do after high school. it was fun. then we all went back up to the spot again and skated for a bit longer until it was far too cold.
new thrasher came today. good issue. if you havent gotten it in the mail yet, sorry, you should just go out and buy it maybe? yeah.

ahh, yes, so, i spend the remainder of my day, laying around golden and whatnot...
sold 2 boards today. used the money to buy a new board at golden...i know, its rediculous, but i wanted this board pretty bad.

Rasa Libre is back, i dont know if DLXSF is still making them. but, i'm really glad they're back in business! VIVA LA NATE JONES!

but then, this evening, went and saw Tim play in his band Songs For Sleepers.
they did REALLY good. i got hyped like i always do. but i didnt take photos, just enjoyed the music. had a lot of fun this time. i jigged around a lot. some 'wigger' was doing his own goofy dance. although, i would explain it as, he was doing a dance that definatly would've been appropriete if we were listening to Snoop Dogg...but we werent. so he looked quite goofy.
oh well, to each his own right?
i mean, its not like my dance fits any genre, its the 'songs for sleepers jig!'
i basically jig around like i'm having a seizure. inspired by ian curtis.

but god they did great! and they covered 'hypnotize' by the white stripes, james pulled me up on stage, and i danced around, then we pulled alec up, danced around some more, and sang along. it was very fun.
i hope to do it again someday!!!

i didnt want to look at my ugly face, so i put a band-aid over my grossness.and figured, "hey, i cant grow a good mustache, so.."

good morning to you all.
its december 1st i believe...yahoo.
so, my story of the day....
i wake up today, must not have gotten too much sleep last night, wasnt feeling to good this morning, started getting my twitches. [in the mornings, if i havent gotten enough rest, or i havent taken my meds at the right time, my mind will send too many messages to my central nervous system, and my CNS cant keep up, and it causes a spazm, sometimes, they're pretty severe, usually i just twitch, or drop whatevers in my hands]
so, i got the twitches, so i'm like "shit, dad, i gotta lay down, i dont wanna fall over"
alright, just rest, hopefully you'll be good by the time its school time.
so i'm layin there, i start feelin better, awesome.
dad, i'm gonna go to school now! bye!
walking out to my car, i have another twitch, fall on my face, K.O.'d
i dont know if i was laying there for long or whatever, but, i get up, "what the fuck?"
run inside, look at my face, "fuck."
then for the next 5 minutes i'm having deja vu.
i tell my dad i need to get to first hour, cuz its tuesday, and i have a test.
its friday. and i dont even have a test on tuesday.
so, somethings wrong. i lay on the couch, with a towel on my face. no bueno.

so, thats my morning!

but, i'm pretty sure last night must've been good. i cant really remember it. but, i went to lexi's, its always nice seeing her.
we played with a polaroid, i wish i could remember it all
although, i'm sure it'll all come back to me. i hope.

thanksgiving evening

warning! its another long one! totally worth it!

oh wow.
where do i start...
so i go over to nicks house, teejay is there, we're bored, lets go to albertsons...its closed, turkey day, we're hungry/bored, so we go searching for somewhere...anywhere that had food/cola. we go to some gas station, get some energy drinks and beef jerky. whatevs. what to do now? lets drive up to the top of that mountain right there, see how windy it is! so we get up there, its rediculously windy, i've never been in such intense wind in my life, i brought my camera, and when i took off my lens cap, i dropped it, and my lens cap started blowing away in the wind, took us a while to grab it...

it was cold. and windy. almost fell over numerous times, and i couldnt get my camera to focus :[

after this, we're like "dude, lets go drive up that other mountain, by chris's house!" so we think we're on the road to the top, but we actually end up driving behind the mountain, and we drive along this sketchy dirt road, then it turns into US government property, and so we turned around, ventured on.
we ended up driving by Best Buy and Circuit City to check out all the idiots camping out, one lady threatened to spray teejay with pepper spray, because he said we were gonna come back in the morning and cut in line...it was hilarious.

i drive with my eyes closed

then, after an intense wal-mart session, teejay/nick start trying to call their friend brian, he starts making up excuses like i'm sleeping, and i'm gonna go home soon, etc...10 minutes after his goofy phone calls, we see drive by, or at least we thought it was him...i guess it was his same exact car, down to the details, same little body kit shizz, same goofy headlights, came car...so, okay, we follow him.
he's driving out on leslie, way out there, and he turns on some random road, that goes out into the desert, all these crazy huge houses, and we're starting to question whether its him or not, but we carry on, right on their tail, assuming its brian, realizing we're following him, so he's giving us a chase. this guy knows where he's going, he's taking some crazy roads, and we're getting sketched out. majorly. i start flashing my brights, because i'm tired of following him. after this, he speeds off, flies up to 60mph, we practically lose him, they turn into this huge driveway, and so we stop, and roll down the window...this is when the guy stays there for a few minutes, then gets out. teejay yells "brian! brian!" the guy replies "what? i'm not brian!" assuming brian is joking around, teejay yells "yes, you are!" and we really realize, we just totally stalked this dude for 15 minutes, freaking him out, so i yell sorry, and we take off.
then it got kinda weird/fun. we thought it was super fun to chase this dude. and i remember back in the day, we used to drive around with eric, and follow people for fun. so we decide, "yeah, lets follow some more people for fun!" yeah, sounds weird, but its suspensful and very very fun...we find our next victom...car full of kids about our age, the chase is on, i give them a little space, so its not too obvious that i'm following. they start going out to the same exact area, we get sketched out again. they were definatly getting sketched out though, they were turning without signals, running stop signs, i started feeling bad, but we kept on. they pull off to the side of the road, we decide to keep going, and we see that they turn around, so we turn around, just to make it fun again. we come to an intersection, you either go straight into a dead end, or turn right, i figured they turn right, and i miss the turn, so i go into the dead end. as i slow down to pull a U'ey, teejay notices they're on the side of the road, watching us, so teejay yells "OH SHIT! THEY'RE RIGHT THERE!" i'm startled, thinking "oh god, what if they're pissed...we cant just pull off the whole 'hey! joe? joe? oh...its not you? damn" so i fling the car around, thinking theres a nice shoulder, turns out, theres some gnarly soft gravel, and my car bottoms out all crazy and we speed off. we finally get back onto leslie, i start turning my wheel, and i'm looking at the spedometer or something, and i guess my wheel turned back, and we almost flew into some ditch, but teejay managed to take a hold of the wheel, and we barely made the turn without dying...thanks teejay. hahaha
so now, we pull over, make sure my car is alright from bottoming out so much, and just take it all in...then we start thinking about how funny it must've all looked. them getting out of the car, all freaked out, from being followed, then seeing us, "oh shit, there they are!" then they see us slam on the brakes, and hear us yell "OH SHIT! THERE THEY ARE!" and watch us fling around and run over a bush basically and speed off...must've been funny.
we're all calm now, collected, we notice, that i've almost hit 100,000 miles on my car, so we drive around the neighborhood until i hit it. instant stokage! then we all get out and piss on some fence. it was a magical moment.

hello to mondays, excitement, and fights

well, today happens to be Monday, so, i had a rough start to begin with this morning, but like always it got better.
school was pretty boring, quite mundane.
so, my day was pretty boring, normal, whatevs...
until i went to the skatepark.
[its a long story, but its worth reading, i think, it was entertaining for me, and i hope its entertaining for you, you might even learn something from it...]

its a beautiful day, the rain has cleared, the sun is out, kinda, and the weather is much warmer.
i decide its a good day to pick up my skateboard and put it to use, so i head down to the park.
i can feel the session starting, things are picking up pace, its getting fun. then...
I hear "DONT YOU EVER TELL ME TO SHUT UP AGAIN!" belching out of michael[vowel's] mouth.
wait wait wait...sorry, let me back up. if you didnt already know this, michael [junior, my grade] can be a cool guy i guess, but, lately, he's been known for being kind of an arse, and generally trying to be a bully to everyone, its getting pretty wack, and its killing the vibes...for everyone. sometimes it can be funny, like a joke, some immature teasing never hurt anyone, just as long as they dont have feelings to begin with.
so, with that said,

i hear some drama happening, so i whip my head to see whats the haps
michael picks up his board, and hits blake in the leg with it.
now, blake however, [freshman i do believe] i dont like him, he can be pretty annoying, and he's been known to do some things that didnt exactly follow skatepark educate.
so, blake is getting hit in the leg with a skateboard over an argument not worth wasting your breath. cool.
michael storms off in anger, and blake is pretty hurt, we seem worried, yet we giggle a bit, and keep skating. i know i'm drawing this on...and i like it.
we skate for a bit, then hear some banging and screaming, i look in the parking lot, to see blake running away, and michael is chasing after him. appearantly, blake ran out to michaels truck, and started smashing the hood with his skateboard. just so everything is fair.
blake runs over to where we are, and just kinda awaits michael to come over, so he can run away some more, michaels eyes actually lit on fire at this point in time. finally, michael gets close enough, says some curses, and hops onto blake, he starts wailing on blakes back and the occipital part of blakes head, blakes friends run over and push him off. blake is in pain again, and michael is red in the face. michael suggests that he would "take all y'all pussy's! right here! come on! i'll kick your ass!" and the kids say "no, we dont want to fight you, we just want you to lay off."
another one of blakes friends, [freshman as well] gets in michael's face and they exchange some expected yelling, then michael says "what michael, you wanna fight me too?"
"oh god michael..." the friend says, but is inturupted by michaels palm in his face
the kid takes a swing, its a good punch, michael pulled some kind of matrix move, and dodged
but seriously, if this punch would've landed, i would've mistaken this kid for tyson.
this starts it off, they scuffle, they do the struggle hug [when the fight starts and they're kinda just hugging eachother, trying to take the other one down, but they just cant do it, so they awkwardly, aggressivly, hug.]
they start punching eachother, everywhere, face, back, stomach, kicking, whatevs, it was getting intense.
the kid manages to get michael in a headlock, and starts going at it on michaels face like a windmill, then blake sees the opprotunity for revenge, and runs over, and uses his fists to feed michael.
i notice, that the fire department is visiting the local bank of HAPO, the bank right next to the skatepark, the firemen realize whats going on, and one of them hops over the fence like a ninja and everything kind of breaks up. theres some more yelling, some laughing, some anger.
i'm laughing very hard, its terrible i know, but i cant keep a straight face when i see others fight about stupid things.
however, i'm worried/pissed, cuz i'm afraid that the firemen are going to report this fight, and if you remember what happened the spring of '05, the incident with the lurkers. we dont want the cops to have a regular check up every 2 hours at the park.
luckily, cops never came.
so, we basically tell everyone who was involved, to please, leave the park, because we dont want to see their faces. actually, i was surprised, there was no blood, because i saw some good fist to face action.
thinking back on it now. i know how the argument started, it went like this "blake, that wasnt even a real 50-50, his front truck wasnt even locked in"
blake said "shut up michael"
thats what started it. tomorow, i think i'll ask michael, "what did you solve man? all that for nothing? thats too bad, have fun getting the dents out of your hood!"

yes, i know i made that story about 500 words too long. but i dont care, i'm bored, i need something to do, and i kinda like writing.
besides, i wanna make sure you all know what really happened, because i know for a fact that michael will have a different story, and so will blake/all his friends.
i however, didnt take sides, so i'm telling you what happened, at least, what i saw. i wish i had photos to show you...i think omar filmed a little bit on clints camera...talk to clint...

what a day, its a short week, tomorow, then wednesday is a half day, then turkey day, then no school friday. i'm excited. and i hope the vibes at the park will be good tomorow!

first saturday in the past 3 weeks that i didnt have any problems with my epilepsy. so i've been pretty damn optomistic all day!

but first, last night.
last night, me, cory, zach, alex, craig, and matt when skating. we went to the old TRW ledge, or the commodore ledge, whatever you please.
i took photos, it was pretty neat,

while we were there, this dude comes up to me, and asks "what are you taking photos of?" so i'm like, damn, he's probably gonna ask me to delete any photos of the property or something lame like that. so i'm just kinda like "ehh, you know, skateboarding..." and he says "well, you look like you know what you're doing, {hands me his card} why dont you e-mail me some photos, and maybe we'll put them in the next Reactor Magazine"
so i sent off some photos today...reactor magazine is some lame little local tri cities "arts, news and entertainment" magazine. its free, they have it all over the place. i doubt i'll get any photos published, but that'd be kinda cool right? eh, maybe not... oh well.

today, got up, no seizures, hyped, hung out with lexi, even more hyped. dont eat at the big burrito, that place sucks ween. taco bell is much better :]
now, i'm just, trying to learn these joy division songs. i'm quite bored really. but, i got my EX-BOX out from my closet, and i tried playing one of my Tony Hawk video games, its sooo fun! dudes that hate on tony hawk's video games, or tony hawk in general are wack. they're just jealous of his success. but, they have every right to hate on BAM.

school was mega whatevs, i cant really remember anything we did...strange.

after school, i went and hung out with lexi. it was nice, we went and took photos near a bridge and stuff.

she's pretty cute.

then, got taco bell, and enjoyed south park on my lonesome.

I didnt do anything today, dont know why, just stayed inside, stressed on grades, got unstressed on grades, then get slightly stressed on them again...seizures stay away please.

i played my guitar, thought about trying to write a song, started thinking to hard and gave up.

but, mainly, i was on ryan's myspace, and came upon this photo, eric took it in the early summer at skatecamp, eric bought his nice new pentax, and then we went skating around fresno downtown, right behind the baseball stadium.
anyways, its probably 1 in the mourning in this photo, we were skating this neat ledge in this ally. it was pretty dirty, lots of trash and grease on the ground. then we realized that we were skating in front of this $1 Chinese place...i'm not sure what kinda stuff they sold for a buck, but...it had a door, with a cross made out of tape, and the letters were falling off the sign, it was pretty gross.
brought back good memories from that night.

[yeah, i know i look quite rediculous, this was taken in july probably...]
the quality isnt that good, cuz i just grabbed it from ryan's myspace.
i hope you found amusement in my story.

What a day.
first, i got to prosser, its me, teejay, cory, and vince in my car, alex/matt/craig in another car, ian/chris/taylor in the other car.
and if you've been to the Prosser skatepark, 5 people is too many people.
after prosser, we went and skated the benton city skatepark.

"benton skate krew = boner suck krew"

then we went to the school to skate the rail, i took photos, cuz i dont skate anymore.

yeah, i couldnt decide on my favorite angle, they're all kinda the same, but, yeah, you decide.

then we drove around for a while, went to value village, ross, GI joes, skated, drove, whatevs
then teejay and i picked up lexi, aimee, and allison, and we went to 321 to see Tim's band Songs For Sleepers play.

*Craig-when you read this, just know, that i feel terrible, i totally spaced out, and forgot that i was supposed to pick you up, and i feel really really bad. next show you wanna go to. just tell me, we're going. and i'm paying!

it was a lot of fun! lexi kept getting mad at me whenever i'd try taking photos of her, it was cute. and then she was totally embarassed when i was doing my little bopp dance, i had a lot of fun though...
it was fun. a really really really long day.
it should happen more often.
